Lisa has been a zealous advocate for over a decade. She began her legal career handling civil, criminal and family law matters. From there she worked in juvenile court handling abuse and neglect and delinquency matters. Subsequent to that, she served the public as a prosecutor for nearly eight years including in the capacity of supervisor of the domestic violence unit in Kane County and Supervisor of the Traffic/Misdemeanor Division in Kendall County. Lisa then opened her own practice and currently concentrates in the area of family and criminal law, handling matters such as custody and divorce, orders of protection, guardian ad litem work, as well as traffic, misdemeanor, DUI, and juvenile cases.
More than a decade ago, Lisa began her legal career handling Divorce and Custody matters for the first firm she worked for. After opening her own practice, she has gone back to focusing a majority of her practice in the area of Family Law. Lisa represents clients in Divorce and Custody matters, Visitation, Child Support, and Paternity matters, both pre and post-decree. When faced with a Family Law matter, it is important to have an attorney that will aggressively advocate for their client in matters of custody, visitation, support, and appropriate division of property.
Lisa has an extensive background in the area of Criminal Law. She began her legal career handling criminal defense matters in the area of Traffic, Misdemeanor, DUI, and Felony matters. Subsequent to that, and as a Prosecutor for close to a decade, she handled matters ranging from traffic matters to serious Felony matters such as Armed Robbery and Attempt Murder cases. With her wealth of knowledge in these areas, she can offer her clients zealous advocacy as she knows the case from both sides.
It is Lisa's firm belief that whether it is negotiating the terms on a Criminal case or a Family case, an attorney that is willing to listen to their client's wishes, and work with the attorney on the other side accomplishes more in the end. An ability to negotiate and come to a fair resolution is a necessary trait in accomplishing the goals of a client.
With over a decade of experience having argued hundreds of motions and tried hundreds of cases, Lisa has the background to provide her clients with the zealous advocacy needed for a successful outcome in their cases.
Lisa knows that whether it is dealing with the ramifications of a Criminal case or the emotions present in a Family law case that is it imperative that the attorney handling the matter not only advocate for their client in the courtroom, but also provide support and guidance outside the courtroom by way of listening to the wishes and needs of her clients and providing answers to them throughout the process.

Do you Charge for an Initial Consultation?

What is a Guardian Ad Litem?
A Guardian Ad Litem (also known as a “GAL”) is an attorney for the parties’ child(ren). The Guardian Ad Litem is required to investigate the facts of the case, interview the child(ren) and the parties, and testify or submit a written report to the court regarding his or her recommendations in accordance with the best interest of the child. A Guardian Ad Litem may be appointed by the Court in both Pre and Post Decree matters including but not limited to Custody and Visitation matters.
